Recently, news surfaced about the impending closure of an upscale restaurant and wine bar in Beacon Hill. Now, it looks like a new establishment by some of the same people will take its place.

According to a Universal Hub report, The Boston Licensing Board yesterday approved a new venture called Zurito, which is set to take over the former Bin 26 Enoteca space at 26 Charles St.

Collaborating on this venture are Jamie Bissonnette and Babak Bina from BCB3 restaurant group, with Bina being one of the original figures behind Bin 26. Nader Asgari-Tari, formerly a managing partner at Bin 26, will manage the eatery.

Zurito will specialize in a selection of meats and cheeses served as tapas, or small plates intended for sharing. These offerings will draw inspiration from the vibrant culinary traditions of the Basque region in northern Spain, spanning from the Pyrenees mountains to the Bay of Biscay.

According to Tom Miller, the attorney representing the group, Zurito will seat up to 64 people and close at midnight, taking after its predecessor.

Stay tuned for further updates as this development continues to unfold.
