A 10,000-square-foot subterranean restaurant, bar, and lounge with live music is coming to Cambridge’s Harvard Square.

According to a recent Boston Magazine report, Lou’s will take over the former Beat Brew Hall space at 13A Brattle St.

John DiGiovanni, president of Trinity Property Management, is partnering with Thomas Keane of Churchill James (the team behind American Flatbread) to bring this concept to life.

Although menu details are currently unknown, Boston Magazine reports that the renovation of the Brattle St space is being overseen by Elder & Ash, a design firm known for its recent transformation of Hotel Portsmouth.

Lou’s is expected to open in the spring of 2025. What Now Boston has reached out to DiGiovanni and Keane and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
