A local coffee shop chain is expanding with a new Cambridge location.

Pavement Coffeehouse will soon take over the former Dudley Cafe space at 1663 Massachusetts Ave, according to Boston Restaurant Talk.

Founded by Larry Margulies in 1997, Pavement currently operates eight cozy cafés across Greater Boston. Known for its freshly roasted specialty coffee and homemade bagel sandwiches, the shop also serves juices, teas, pastries, and other light bites.

While signage spotted at the new Pavement Coffeehouse site indicates a winter 2025 opening, Margulies told What Now Boston that he’s hoping for a mid-April debut.
