Little’s, a new shipping container-turned-drive-thru restaurant, is coming to the southwest corner of 4th St N and 87th Ave in St. Petersburg early next year, according to reporting from local media outlet St. Pete Rising

The restaurant, helmed by local entrepreneur Brian P. Butler and founders of Colby Restaurant Group, Craig and Mike Colby, will specialize in classic diner fare such as sliders, chicken tenders, tater tots, fries, shakes, and sodas, with a potential seasonal slider thrown in the mix for good measure.

While Little’s will primarily function as a drive-thru first experience, Butler told St. Pete Rising that “future builds may have an indoor dining option,” and that “there will also be a walk-up window for customers who don’t drive or want to get drink refills while they enjoy the outdoor seating at ground level or a covered deck added to the top of the container.”

What’s more, Butler said he has the “area development rights for Tampa Bay,” and that he plans to develop 25 stores in the region, including three by the end of 2023, adding, “I just know that this concept is going to hit big in our area.”

Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that, according to St. Pete Rising, the permits for Little’s are still in the approval process and that “elements of the plan…are not final and subject to change.”
