Luca and Eglantine Leguerchois, owners of Pass-a-Grille Beach’s candy and ice cream shop Paradise Sweets, are turning their focus toward something “simple, but more healthy,” with Paradise To Go, a carry-out driven concept located at 116 8th Ave that’s due to open later this winter.

“We’re trying to do something simple, but more healthy, with sandwiches, galettes, and acai bowls,” Eglantine Leguerchois tells What Now Tampa.

Paradise Sweets has been serving both Pass-a-Grille residents and visitors alike since 2006 and has changed ownership numerous times with the Leguerchois taking over earlier this year.

In a Facebook post at the time, former owners Craig and Beverly Bohnert wrote, “We are excited to announce that Paradise Sweets now is under the ownership of Luca and Eglantine Leguerchois! They come from France and have fallen in love with Pass-a-Grille Beach and the community. Beverly and Craig have truly enjoyed the past year dedicated to enhancing the experience of a visit to Paradise Sweets, and Luca and Eglantine are committed to delivering the same quality, friendliness, and emphasis on service that has become our hallmark during the past year.”
