The intersection between Cypress Gardens Boulevard and Third Street Southeast in Winter Haven will soon be home to a new ice cream shop. A plan review was recently found by What Now for a restaurant called Wish Upon an Ice Cream Cone, to open at 345 Cypress Gardens Blvd.
What Now reached out to owner Hissein Ibrahim for comment on the brand on Thursday. Ibrahim confirmed the news of Wish Upon an Ice Cream Cone’s opening but declined to comment on the details of the brand, its menu, or its projected opening date.
This leaves us wondering, for the moment, what sort of ice cream will be on offer here. Of course, you can’t really go wrong with ice cream.
The location on Cypress Gardens is a part of a small cluster of food and drink spots, most of which are chain brands, including Panda Express, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, and KFC. Also nearby is family-friendly sports bar Beef O’Brady’s.
