Located at 153 Second Ave. N in St. Petersburg, the Sundial is a shopping, dining, and entertainment complex home to restaurants like Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse and Sea Salt. The mall will soon welcome another restaurant into the mix: Forbici Modern Italian will open its second location there sometime next year, according to recent coverage by Creative Loafing Tampa.

Reportedly, the St. Pete location is only the first in a nationwide expansion that could—according to co-owner Jeff Gigante—lead to as many as 30 or 40 locations opening throughout the United States.

The Forbici location at the Sundial will occupy 7,000 square feet, featuring an indoor-outdoor bar and a 3,000-square-foot outdoor patio.

Forbici’s dinner menu features pasta dishes like Mushroom Cavatelli, Caio E Pepe, Bolognese, and Roy & Betty’s Linguine Alle Vongole with Cedar Key little neck clams. Entrees include salmon with lemon butter, black and white grains, and sauteed spinach and a New York Strip with Maldon sea salt and roasted fingerling potatoes.

There is also a brunch menu with offerings like the Buongiorno Sandwich (medium eggs, smoked gouda, provolone, bacon, tomato, Calabrian aioli, ciabatta, served with fingerling potatoes or fresh fruit) and Eggs in Purgatory (baked eggs, Pomodoro, goat cheese, sliced avocado, chili oil, toast).
