A new Starbucks location appears to be on the way to St. Peterburg’s North Kenwood neighborhood. Plans were filed to open a drive-thru-only location at the intersection of Ninth Avenue and 34th Street, according to recent coverage by St. Pete Rising.
Found all over the world with more than 32,000 stores in 80 countries, Starbucks has conquered the world of coffee. It offers a selection of espresso drinks like lattes, cappuccinos, flat whites, and the like, plus drip coffee and cold brew. There are teas and fruit teas, mochas and Frappuccinos, breakfast sandwiches and lunch sandwiches, and more, including a selection of pastries and other cafe-appropriate desserts and light eats.
Starbucks has opened several St. Pete locations in recent years, including one earlier this year at 3939 Fourth Avenue. The city of St. Petersburg will require some adjustments to the submitted plans, which are expected to be revised, the St. Pete Rising coverage tells us.
Required changes include a pick-up window for pedestrians so that the location will not be limited to motorists. It remains to be seen whether this will lead to the addition of seating.
