Centergate Village, a retail center on the southwest corner of the intersection between Cattlemen Road and Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota, will soon be home to a new restaurant offering Mexican cuisine. A recently submitted plan review shows Casa Patron Mexican Kitchen opening at 4000 Cattlemen Road.

What Now reached out to a representative of the restaurant on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the opening. The representative confirmed the news of the opening but was not available to discuss the concept further.

For the moment, then, we’ll have to wait for more details about Casa Patron’s menu offerings. Recent coverage on Patch.com says the restaurant will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and will have a full bar.

The new restaurant will replace the Sommers Dutch Family Restaurant, joining concepts like Island Fin Poké Company, Panera Bread, and Domino’s Pizza on Centergate Village’s food and drink roster.

Stay tuned for updates as more information on Casa Patron becomes available.
