Dunkin’ appears to be planning a new location in Palm Harbor. A recently submitted plan review shows the new donut shop and cafe opening at 2671 US-19 ALT.
Dunkin’ (and, remember, that’s the name now; it’s been shortened from Dunkin’ Donuts) is known globally for its donuts, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and low price point. Its menu features an ever-expanding variety of coffees, teas, and other beverages, like the branded frozen Coolatta.
A selection of classic breakfast sandwiches offers variations on the egg-and-cheese, with proteins like bacon, sausage, and turkey sausage, on a choice of bread: English muffin, bagel, or croissant. Along with these comes, of course, the selection of donuts and branded donut-hole Munchkins.
Purple Square Management Co., which currently owns and operates 99 Dunkin’/Baskin Robbins locations in Florida and Alabama, appears to be behind the location. What Now reached out to Purple Square president and CEO Vik Patel on Thursday to inquire about plans for a new Dunkin’ in Palm Harbor. Patel was not immediately available for comment.
