Stormrunner’s Tavern, a new restaurant and bar, will open next year at the intersection of Shore Boulevard South and Beach Boulevard South in Gulfport, according to recent coverage by St. Pete Rising. The building, located at 3128 Beach Boulevard South, was occupied by Caddy’s until it closed this summer.
The new spot’s bottom floor, Stormrunner’s Tavern, will serve as the main restaurant and bar space. The second-floor patio, called The Crow’s Nest at Stormrunner’s Tavern, will feature beautiful views. Alongside the building, Bar Kitiki at Stormrunner’s Tavern will be a dog-friendly tiki bar.
Heading up the project is local restaurateur Dave Burton, the force behind concepts like Holy Hog BBQ and Tampa Pizza Co. Burton is partnering with Ian Taylor, Joey Frasco, and Fred Metzler.
