“Innovative tech-forward food and beverage franchising & licensing Concept” Tapville Social is preparing to launch a new outpost in Lutz, at the Tampa Premium Outlets. Originally planning a November 2023 opening, the project appears to have faced delays, but a recently submitted plan review shows Tapville moving forward.

Shoppers at Tampa Premium Outlets will be able to pour themselves a drink at the mall’s Tapville location, making for a much-improved shopping experience.

“The retail environment is changing dramatically with online shopping choices. Now more than ever with the impacts of the pandemic, attracting shoppers to brick & mortar shopping destinations requires much more than traditional approaches to retailing.” Tapville CEO Joseph Tota said in a press release. “Tapville helps retailers create a modern, community-centric experience, while introducing local independent breweries to shoppers.”

The franchisees behind the Tampa Premium Outlets Tapville location are Brian and Isabelle Dunleavy and Jennifer and Todd Rittle. What Now reached out to Brian Dunleavy on Wednesday to inquire about plans for the opening. Dunleavy declined to comment at this time.
