Three Oaks Hospitality, the group behind Tampa restaurant concepts like Ro, Sesame, and Bar Aw, has a new culinary project in the works on Harbour Island. The hospitality group’s website promises more details coming soon about the project, which will open sometime in 2024.
Meanwhile, plan review paperwork was submitted by the company for a restaurant project called Fold Harbour Island. This could be a new outpost of Three Oaks’ The Fold Pizza concept, which currently has one location operating at Armature Works.
The Fold Pizza offers pizza by the slice, serving up varieties like Sausage & Peppers (Tomato sauce, mozzarella, Italian sausage peppers and onions, oregano), Tricolor (pan baked with tomato sauce, mozzarella, ricotta & basil pesto), and Firebird (tomato sauce, mozzarella, buffalo chicken, jalapenos, & hot honey).
The submitted plan review shows Fold Harbour Island opening at 601 Harbour Island Blvd., where it would join concepts like Jackson’s Bistro, Bar & Sushi and American Social.
What Now reached out on Tuesday to Three Oaks Hospitality chief operating officer Marshall Hamilton to inquire about plans for the Harbour Island project. Hamilton declined to comment personally on Three Oaks’ Harbour Island plans.
