Founded in 2001, Riverside Seafood & Chicken is a family-run business that has grown over the years to include two locations: one at 1509 East Fletcher Ave, Suite 110, in Tampa; and another in Lakeland, a sister concept called Riverside Express Seafood, located at 130 E Memorial Blvd. Now, Riverside is preparing to expand yet again with a new Seafood & Chicken location opening at 2914 Florida Ave S, also in Lakeland.
“This one will be in a standalone building,” co-owner Abdulhaleem Ibrahim told What Now on Wednesday. “It’s casual dining, with a drive thru.”
Popular orders from the Riverside menu include the Shrimp Platter (served with fries), a Wings & Shrimp combination, Shrimp Scampi, and Shrimp Pasta.
“What we’re known for is all our food is cooked to order,” said Ibrahim. “We have great food and we want to spread the word about the concept.”
