As Potbelly Sandwich Works continues to build out its presence in the Greater Tampa Bay region, the brand has already made considerable progress. There are now several locations in Tampa, plus several more in St. Pete, Largo, and Plant City, along with with another opening soon at 1315 Posner Blvd in Davenport.

That Davenport location appears to be only the first in the area for the sandwich chain, however, as STA Management, which franchises a number of Potbelly locations in the area, has submitted plan review paperwork for a Potbelly Sandwich Works at 7975 Osceola Polk Line Road, Suite 105.

“From the comforting, melty cheese of a toasted sandwich made with love, to classic photos of Jimi Hendrix shredding a guitar solo at Woodstock, Potbelly is just a fun place to be,” says the About Us page on the Potbelly website. “We’re a first-class dive. A place to take a break from it all. Sure we make the best toasted sandwiches in all the galaxies (sorry aliens, but it’s true). But we serve them up with a smile. That’s easy when you love what you do: Making people really happy with craveable food, from our toasty sandwiches, soups, salads, fresh-baked cookies and hand-scooped milkshakes. “

Potbelly’s sandwiches include the Mediterranean (All-natural grilled chicken, feta, zesty hummus, artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, cucumbers), the BLTA (Applewood smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato, fresh-sliced avocado), and Mama’s Meatball (Homestyle beef + pork meatballs smothered in marinara sauce, provolone, Italian seasoning).
