A new ice cream shop is preparing to start “Making Life Sweeter, One Cone at a Time” on Cypress Gardens Road in Winter Haven. Called Sweet Haven, the new scoop shop is launching at 3025 Cypress Gardens Road, according to submitted plan review documents.
“We’re going to be serving ice cream, Italian ice, fresh waffle cones, smoothies, and milkshakes,” owner Mode Yildirim told What Now on Wednesday. Yildirim says Sweet Haven will be filling a kind of vacuum in the area. “There’s no ice cream around here. That will be a great opportunity.”
Ice cream flavors have yet to be revealed for Sweet Haven, but a menu on the brand’s website teases additional confections like popsicles, ice cream bars, ice cream cakes, and ice cream nachos.
Opening in the Cypress Gardens Road location, Sweet Haven will join a restaurant community that includes Beijing Restaurant, MJ’s Pizza & Wings, and Little John’s Diner.
“Get ready to scream for ice cream! We’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of Sweet Haven, your new haven for frozen delights,” says the website. “We’re scooping up happiness with a delicious array of ice creams, made with the finest ingredients. From classic flavors to innovative creations, there’s something for everyone.”
No opening date has been announced yet.
