According to an article from Seattle Met, Atoma will be taking over the former space of Tilth, located at 1411 N 45th St.

“We are looking to open the first week of November. We have lived in Fremont just blocks away from the restaurant space for years. We started our search for a space over a year ago which took us all over the city but we are so grateful to find a space in our community. We are so excited to be in Wallingford,” Johnny Courtney, the chef-owner, and Sarah Courtney, the Operations Director, told What Now Seattle.

“Picture the ambiance of a friend’s dinner party, resonating with the laughter of a spirited crowd and the backdrop of vibrant music – all set within the welcoming embrace of a beautifully preserved 80-year-old Craftsman-style home. We are lucky to work with incredible contractors Plumb Level Squared and Jeunesse Architects to bring to life a space that pays homage to tradition while seamlessly integrating modern sophistication.”

“The menu will offer both an a la carte option or a tasting menu option and will change often with dishes drawing from the global culinary background of our talented team sourcing exclusively from the northwest. The atmosphere effortlessly merges refinement with relaxation, encouraging you to savor every moment. We invite guests to leave behind formalities, embrace the warmth, and immerse themselves in an evening off.”

At the heart of Atoma lies a resolute mission – to create an environment that nurtures and sparks creativity, culminating in a dining experience that echoes the essence of its surroundings. A vibrant tribute to the Pacific Northwest, Atoma draws its inspiration from the dedicated farmers, ranchers, fishermen, and winemakers who weave their magic in this bountiful region. This establishment takes pride in its profound connection to the terroir and culture that envelops it.

The name Atoma carries a profound significance that transcends the surface. It speaks to the often overlooked aspects of dining – the elements that quietly weave their magic, enhancing the experience in profound yet imperceptible ways. Just as the word “Atoma” means “invisible,” the restaurant’s philosophy celebrates the unsung heroes of the dining narrative. It pays homage to the local farmers who toil year-round to yield nature’s bounty, the artisanal winemakers and brewers who craft libations that elevate meals, and the dedicated team whose meticulous efforts transform a simple meal into an unforgettable journey, according to their website.
