According to a recent permit filing, Chipotle will be expanding with a location in Auburn at 1261 Auburn Way N.

A representative of Chipotle was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Chipotle’s website listed locations, this would be the first location for Chipotle in Auburn.

“Chipotle was born of the radical belief that there is a connection between how food is raised and prepared, and how it tastes. Real is better. Better for You, Better for People, Better for Our Planet. It may be the hard way to do things, but it’s the right way.”

“One of the first national restaurant brands to commit to goals on local and organic produce. First national restaurant brand to commit to using only responsibly raised meat with some of the highest animal welfare standards.”

“Being real means… we only use 53 ingredients you can pronounce. And the only ingredient that is hard to pronounce at Chipotle is “Chipotle.”
