Darkside Brick Oven Pizza Co., a pizzeria that revolves around “wood fire brick oven pizzas and 80‘s nostalgia,” is coming to Boerne.
The news broke on Instagram when owner and entrepreneur Michael Hawes posted the restaurant’s logo and a reel stating, “Eighties nostalgia is what this place is all about, plus kick-ass pizza and great, cold beer.”
He adds, “The props that are going to be going into this — which is a shit ton of props, we’ve got some crazy things. If you’re into Back to the Future, if you’re into Star Wars, Jaws, The Terminator, E.T., you’re going to be able to find it here.”
According to photos posted on the restaurant’s page, the building is currently under construction — but an address hasn’t yet been announced.
Darkside Brick Oven Pizza Co. in Boerne is slated to open this fall. In the meantime, follow the upcoming eatery on Instagram for additional updates.
