Texas-based tea franchise HTeaO is opening a new outpost in San Antonio. Coming to 9711 Potranco Road, the upcoming location will neighbor Church’s Texas Chicken, Marco’s Pizza, and Subway.

Franchisee Amy Dresch tells What Now San Antonio that HTeaO on Potranco will offer a drive-thru, indoor counter service, and a retail space where patrons can pick up snacks like nuts and Kettle Brand chips after choosing one of the 30-plus flavors of iced teas and coffees.

“I just am obsessed with tea,” Dresch shares when asked why she decided to franchise with HTeaO.

Considering the chain’s success throughout the state, Texans seem to share the sentiment — since it was founded in 2009, HTeaO has opened over 50 locations throughout the state and has 40 more listed as “coming soon” on its website.

According to a recently filed construction permit application, the business is building the 2,471-square-foot outpost from the ground up, with construction slated to begin on June 6. The job will cost an estimated $1,000,000 and be executed by the San Antonio-based firm Stephen J Kramer Architecture + Design.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the chain, HTeaO is best known for its fresh-brewed, 100% broadleaf iced tea made with double-pass reverse osmosis water and ice, as well as coffee options.

As a certified YETI retailer, the chain is also a popular locale for patrons hoping to pick up a new cooler or insulated mug.

HTeaO at 9711 Potranco Road is slated to open late this year.
