Phoenix-based concept Postino is coming to San Antonio — opening one outpost this summer and another early next year.

Morgan Peters, a PR rep for Postino, tells What Now San Antonio, “They are slated for a late June opening at The Rim. Postino also has plans for a second location along the Pearl Broadway Cultural Corridor.”

Postino at The Rim — a shopping mall located at 17627 La Cantera Parkway — will soon join eateries such as Hopdoddy Burger Bar, Potbelly Sandwich Shop, and Torchy’s Tacos.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the restaurant chain, Postino is a “buzzy, all-day wine bar and café” known for “upbeat art and music, vibey interiors, bustling patios, somm-selected wines, and savory shareable plates and boards.”

Peters shares, “Guests can expect a design scheme unique to each location, incorporating rollaway, garage-style doors to connect the indoors with outside, show-stopping vintage light fixtures, and eclectic artwork.”

Postino’s Founder, Lauren Bailey, debuted the chain in Texas at Houston’s Heights Mercantile in 2018. Originally from San Antonio, Peters shares that the expansion to Bailey’s hometown is an especially “exciting move for her.”

The second Postino outpost is slated to open in early 2024 at 2600 Broadway, near Brackenridge Park.
