The fast-casual chain Salad and Go is planning to introduce a new location at 14036 W FM 471 in San Antonio.

According to a recent permit application, the company began constructing the 875-square-foot outpost back in February, with Rogue Architects handling the design. The job was supposedly completed in May and is estimated to have cost around $300,000.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Salad and Go is known for bringing “salads and more to the drive-thru with blazing fast, friendly service and a fresh crunch of whole-food goodness.” On the menu are salads, wraps, and soups — as well as breakfast items like burritos and bowls served with house-made salsa.

With more than 80 locations nationwide, and further expansion planned for 2023, Salad and Go is quickly becoming a major player in the fast-food industry — “shaking things up by making meals that are not only convenient and affordable but good for [its] guests and the local communities.”

What Now San Antonio was unable to reach a Salad and Go representative before publication. An opening date has not yet been announced, so follow the chain on Facebook and Instagram for additional updates.
