The Converse-based tea and beverage business Red Circle Boba is planning to open a second location — this time in New Braunfels.

According to a recent construction permit application, the shop is coming to 2736 TX Loop 337, Suite 104, just down the street from Bahama Buck’s, Chicken Express, and Freddy’s Frozen Custard.

What Now San Antonio briefly spoke to Red Circle Boba’s owner, Yesenia Osborne, who confirmed the address but could not provide further information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing provides additional insight.

Described as the “tenant finish-out” of an existing 1,898-square-foot space, the renovations are scheduled to begin on August 1 and finish on November 10 — and are estimated to cost $125,000.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Red Circle Boba, the eatery specializes in milk tea, fruit tea, smoothies, and boba beverages, as well as snacks such as crepes and macarons. The business currently operates one shop in Converse.

An opening date has not yet been announced. Follow Red Circle Boba on Facebook and Instagram for additional updates.
