International smoothie, juice, and boost provider Jamba Juice is coming to San Antonio’s Big Springs HEB Plus at 20935 US Highway 281 N.

Franchisee Troy Trevino tells What Now San Antonio that the Jamba outpost will boast an external entryway and offer counter service, an indoor dining area, and “hopefully, cafe-style tables on the outside.”

According to a recently submitted permit application, renovations to the existing 884-square-foot space are slated to begin on September 4 and be completed on November 15 — and carrying out the necessary mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, as well as adding new walls and finishes, will be the St. Louis-based firm Oculus Inc. for an estimated $175,000.

Jamba Juice in Big Springs is slated to open in early December, marking Trevino’s third Focus Brands concept outpost in the San Antonio area — one of which is an Auntie Anne’s pretzel shop within the location.

After opening, San Antonio residents can swing by for a healthy drink between 9:30 am and 8:00 pm.
