According to a recently submitted permit application, a new bar and grill is coming to downtown Lacoste.
Taking over the building at 16032 S Front Street, Billy’s Bar & Grill will land next to El Ranchito Mexican Grill, just down the street from Schottzy’s coffee shop and Lovin’ The Mother Oven bakery.
What Now San Antonio briefly spoke to the upcoming eatery’s owner, Billy Fletcher, but he could not provide additional information before publication.
Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.
Described as the build-out of an existing 3,224-square-foot “tavern space and adjacent storage space to accommodate a new bar and restaurant” — with construction already underway, slated to be finished in October — Catonsville, Maryland-based architecture firm 3-Square Architects LLC will carry out the project for an estimated $220,000.
