Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii — a coffee shop chain specializing in 100% Kona and Hawaiian coffee — recently announced plans to expand in Texas, and Alamo City made the cut.

“A five-unit agreement has been awarded to develop in the North San Antonio market,” shares QSR, placing the franchise at 24 stores in development, with 20 more in discussion for the state.

CEO of Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii, Scott Snyder, tells the journal, “Texas continues to be a hot market for us.”

He adds, “We’re growing with sophisticated players who see the immense value in diversifying their portfolios with an emerging coffee shop that has a distinct competitive advantage. More than 70 percent of our system is now comprised of multi-unit operators, and we look forward to welcoming more growth-minded individuals.”

On the menu, San Antonio locals can expect to find blended drinks, cold brews, lattes, lemonades, smoothies, and teas — as well as snacks such as bagels, donuts, and muffins.

Addresses and opening dates have not been announced yet, so follow Bad Ass Coffee of Hawaii on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
