According to a recently filed permit application, Wendy’s is expanding its San Antonio Area footprint — planning to open a new outpost in Floresville next year.

Coming to 1600 10th Street, the fast-food restaurant will land near establishments such as Dairy Queen, Eagle Ford Inn, and GFood App.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Franchisee Terry Maxey — of Maxey Family Limited Partnership and Maxey Energy Company — to inquire about the expansion

Construction of the “new, free-standing 2,490-square-foot Wendy’s restaurant with drive-thru” is slated to begin on October 1, wrapping up in April of next year. For an estimated $1,500,000, the project will be carried out by Tulsa-based The McIntosh Group, LLC.

An opening date has not been announced yet. Follow Wendy’s on Facebook and Instagram for updates.
