Local joint Biff Buzby’s Burgers is planning to open its second location in San Antonio, according to a recent Facebook post.
“Look at this, the Biff Buzby’s Burgers Nacogdoches Road is growing!!! We can’t wait for the opening date,” Owner Francis Rogers shares alongside pictures of the up-and-coming location — revealing that it will offer a small indoor dining area, a spacious, partially covered outdoor seating area, and a small stage for live performances.
On the Northeast Side, at 2769 Nacogdoches Road, the eatery will neighbor establishments such as C&M Insurance, Healing Sunshine Wellness, and R&J Dental.
For readers who are unfamiliar with Biff Buzby’s, the eatery offers a brief introduction on its website: “Biff Buzby’s Burgers opened its doors June 19, 1999, and is a family-owned business. It started when Donna Humphreys and her husband, Ron, had an idea to open a restaurant. They knew it had to be their favorite food (burgers) and the concept would have to be as fresh and homemade as possible.”
Setting itself apart from other burger joints in the area, the eatery uses 100% ground beef for the patties, serves them on sweetened sourdough buns, and adds a side of pinto beans.
Biff Buzby’s Burgers shares that the Nacogdoches Road spot is “opening soon,” but has not announced a date yet.
