According to a recently submitted permit application, a new bar, The Break Room, is coming to Live Oak.

Taking over the former Halftime Lounge space at 8084 Pat Booker Road, the drinkery will land near establishments such as Burger Boy, Evelyn’s Mexican, and SA Upper Deck Sports Bar.

The Break Room’s co-owner, Amanda Mora, confirmed the name and address of the upcoming concept to What Now San Antonio, but she could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.

Renovations to the 3,418-square-foot location will begin on October 30 and be completed by October 2024, and cost an estimated $100,000 to complete — and local firm Frausto Designs will carry out the project.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
