The fast-casual chain Salad and Go is expanding its San Antonio footprint, planning to debut a new location in the city next year.

According to a recent permit application, the company will construct a 1,000-square-foot outpost at 19434 TX-151 beginning in February 2024, for an estimated $300,000 — with Rogue Architects handling the design.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Salad and Go is known for bringing “salads and more to the drive-thru with blazing fast, friendly service and a fresh crunch of whole-food goodness.” On the menu are salads, wraps, soups, and breakfast items like burritos and bowls served with homemade salsa.

With more than 80 locations nationwide, and further expansion planned for 2024, Salad and Go is quickly becoming a significant player in the fast-food industry — “shaking things up by making meals that are not only convenient and affordable but good for guests and the local communities.”

While an opening date has not been announced yet, construction is slated to finish on May 31, 2024.
