The owner of Sugar Land’s Sauer Kraut Grill restaurant and the Sauer Kraut Food TruckEric Morse, plans to open a brick-and-mortar spot in New Braunfels.

“I have been running a German food truck and restaurant in Sugar Land, Texas for nine years and would like to move my business to New Braunfels,” Morse recently posted on Facebook.

He continues, “I am closing my restaurant in Sugar Land, Texas on December 2. I plan to take some time to refurbish my food truck, then take it on a Hill Country tour, starting with New Braunfels in April 2024… The end goal is to scout our next location for a brick-and-mortar restaurant.”

An address has not been decided on just yet, but locals can look forward to an indoor and outdoor biergarten with live music and a menu boasting recipes from Sauerbraten, Schweinehaxe, Rouladen, and Schnitzel.
