A new British cafe, Kelly’s Old English Tea Shoppe, will make its debut in San Antonio later this month.

Coming to 20122 Stone Oak Parkway #105 — taking over a suite formerly home to SaVor Bistro — the eatery will land near establishments such as Burger King, Champions Car Wash, and Starbucks.

The concept’s co-owner, Dr. Robb Kelly, tells MySA that the shop will offer “afternoon tea,” which consists of three layers of cake on a pedestal alongside tea sandwiches — made with cucumber, egg mayonnaise, chicken salad, salmon, ham & mustard, or coronation chicken — and savory options such as quiche, herb cheddar scones, frittatas, and sausage rolls.

When asked about his goal for the business, Dr. Kelly shares, “We hope [locals] take away a great time, first of all, a traditional time. We want to put on a performance, rather than just serving people as they come through the door.”

What Now San Antonio contacted Kelly — who relocated to San Antonio from Manchester four years ago — but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Kelly’s Old English Tea Shoppe is slated to open on November 21, and then operate seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
