Rios Barbacoa is changing locations in Southtown — moving from its spot on Probandt to the corner of South Flores Street and Bank Street.

Owner Lenny Ann Rios-Chavez and her husband Robert Chavez tell What Now San Antonio that while the menu will remain unchanged, they hope to host Alley Cat Coffee indoors at the upcoming eatery.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the family-owned San Antonio restaurant chain, Rios Barbacoa operates around 20 outposts in the city. Its Southtown spot is known for its tacos, tamales, menudo, and chicharones.

Rios Barbacoa will remain open at its existing spot until around December 10 and is slated to host an opening event at its new location on December 16. Stay tuned for updates.
