Chicken Salad Chick, a “chain outlet specializing in many different types of chicken salads” that opened two outposts in San Antonio last year, plans to continue its expansion.

According to a recently submitted permit application, the eatery is coming to 6010 UTSA Boulevard, Building 2, Suite 201-202 — where it will land near establishments including Costco, Rooms To Go, and The Luxx apartment complex.

What Now San Antonio reached out to the location’s franchisee, James Oberg, but he was unable to provide additional information before the time of publication.

Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.

The interior finish-out of the 2,814-square-foot space is scheduled to begin on February 15 and be completed by April 6. For an estimated $495,000, the work will be carried out by Sherman, Texas-based design firm Bluestone Partners, LLC.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Chicken Salad Chick, Oberg offered an introduction in a press release shared last year: “The brand sets itself apart with its made-from-scratch menu, core values focused on enriching the community, and commitment to serving guests.”

On the menu — in addition to more than ten chicken salad options, categorized as traditional, spicy, savory, and fruity & nutty — are variations of pimento cheese, fruit and vegetable salads, soups, and sandwiches.

Check back in for additional updates, and, in the meantime, follow the eatery on Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date.
