According to a recently submitted permit application, the national steakhouse chain Capital Grille is expanding to San Antonio.

Coming to 17446 Fiesta Texas Drive, the eatery will land near J. Alexander’s American restaurant, La Panadería, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Capital Grille to inquire about the expansion, but representatives could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing offers further insight.

Construction of the 10,100-square-foot full-service restaurant is scheduled to begin on July 29 and finish in March 2025. For an estimated $2,500,000, the work will be carried out by Philadelphia-based firm JKRP Architects.

For readers who are unfamiliar with the concept, Capital Grille is known for its “nationally renowned dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and acclaimed world-class wines,” according to its website.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
