San Marcos’s bar Freddy C’s will soon be expanding to New Braunfels, per recent reporting in Community Impact.

Coming to 2031 Central Plaza, taking over Suite 101, the drinkery will land near establishments such as Avery’s Kitchen, Roost, and Tipsy Cow Ice Cream.

Owner Jamie Frailicks reportedly says he is familiar with the growing New area and that “New Braunfels was the next logical step” for Freddy C’s expansion.

“The second location, which will be located where Terrace Social Haus was previously, will be a bar and grill, said Frailicks, unlike the San Marcos location, which is only a bar,” the report states.

According to Frailicks, the menu will be “traditional bar food” such as burgers, flatbreads, and other shareable items.

By June, Frailicks hopes to open the main bar and kitchen, with a second-floor rooftop patio scheduled to be open in the fall.
