According to recent public records, local pizza establishment Geno’s Pizza and Grinders will soon be opening its second location and its first sit-down restaurant at 10601 US Hwy 441 in Leesburg.

“It’ll be the same menu,” co-owner Katrina Battle (who will be running the restaurant alongside Johnathon Hill) tells What Now Orlando. “The only difference is that there’ll be more at the new location–lasagna and cannoli, in particular.”

Local readers may recall that the original menu include Italian classics such as pizza, subs and salads with cheesecake and tiramisu headlining the desserts lineup.

When asked why they chose this part of Leesburg, Battle says “We’re life long Lake County residents, so any businesses we’ll open will be within the county.”

“It’ll be in a public plaza with not many pizza establishments around,” she adds. “And there’s a large community of active adults nearby.”

So when will this exciting new addition to Leesburg’s food and beverage scene open?

“We’re opening pretty soon; shooting for grand opening on April 1st.”
