The national donut chain Shipley Do-Nuts will be opening a new outpost at 11775 North I-35 Suite 100 in Jarrell, a small town in Williamson County, according to recent public records.

Founded in neighboring Houston, Shipley Do-Nuts boasts more than 300 franchised stores in the Southern US states such as Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, with Colorado being a notable outlier. The brand has proven itself to be a resilient force in the donut market, withstanding the popularity of national rivals Krispy Kreme, Dunkin’, and others.

Costing an estimated $140,000, the construction work will consist of a “Finish-out/remodel of a 1322 sf suite”. Construction is expected to wrap up in June of 2025.

No opening date has been announced.
