According to a recently submitted alcohol license application, the restaurateur behind Isa Restaurant is debuting a new concept in San Francisco.

Coming to 609 Hayes Street in Lower Haight, Kis Cafe will land near establishments such as A Mano, Chez Maman West, and Souvla.

What Now San Francisco reached out to Chef Luke Sung to inquire about his plans for the spot, but he could not provide additional information before publication.

For readers who are unfamiliar with Isa Restaurant, the eatery offers a brief introduction on its website: “Nestled in the heart of San Francisco’s Marina District, Isa is a Cal French small plate restaurant.”

“Isa specializes in deeply flavored & elegant French fare that is served in a simple, unpretentious California style. Share a private dinner in the cozy front room, or breathe in the energy of a spacious back patio protected from the crisp California night air by a chic, white patio cover & heat lamps,” the statement continues.

An opening date has not been announced yet, so stay tuned for updates.
