According to recent reporting in Orlando Weekly, KungFu Kitchen, the noodle establishment run by Peter Song, will open a second location this May in the former Nine Spices Hot Pot space at 5320 S. Kirkman Road.

In 2023, partner Chaun Zeng told What Now Orlando he chose to partner with Kung Fu Kitchen and open its first Florida restaurant “Because I live here in Florida. There is good opportunity here, people are always busy in the area, being so close to Disney. It’s an excellent location for both the local and tourist market.”

Founded by Chef Peter Song in Flushing, Queens, New York, Kung Fu Kitchen specializes in dishes such as “Lan Zhou pulled noodles, Shanghai Steamed Buns (Xiao Long Bao), Duck Buns, and Pan Fried Buns,” according to the restaurant’s website.

Until the second Orlando location opens its doors, Florida-based foodies curious about Kung Fu Kitchen’s offerings can visit its existing spot at 8466 Palm Parkway or stop by in New York City and visit one of its six existing locations.
