Clutch Coffee Bar has another expansion in the works, with plans for a spot in Salisbury at 404 W. Jake Alexander Blvd, according to the brand’s website.

The spot in Salisbury is expected to open in the fall, according to reporting by the Charlotte Business Journal.

Clutch Coffee Bar has been steadily growing its footprint across the Carolinas, bringing drive-thru coffee creations to customers. It also has a location heading to Indian Land this year and one on the way to Fayetteville in 2026.

Founders Darren Spicer, John Anderson and Jake Vandermeer started the brand in Mooresville in 2018 and have since expanded to multiple locations throughout the Charlotte and Triad areas. There are also several South Carolina locations open or in the works in the Columbia and Charleston areas. They currently operate 15 stores.

Clutch specializes in serving coffees, energy drinks, refreshers, smoothies, shakes and other specialty beverages in a drive-thru format. Beverage offerings include the Base Jumper Mocha (caramel and chocolate), Electric Stardust (an energy drink with peach, strawberry and white chocolate) and the Dream Bar Mocha (caramel, hazelnut and dark chocolate).

“We are passionate about people, providing opportunities and creating a culture that is second to none,” the Clutch website states. “We are equally inspired to provide the best coffees, energy drinks and other specialty beverages that you’ve ever tasted.”
