Cuts Steakhouse is opening Downtown Monday, the steakhouse with “southern influence” announced in a press release Friday.

The steakhouse, at 60 Andrew Young International Boulevard Northwest, will feature items like braised beef short rib (mushroom ragout, grated horseradish) and Southern Fried Lobster Tail (roast garlic mash, brown butter, spinach), in addition to signature steaks under the direction of executive chef Donnie Wicker.

Hailing from the Pinehurst area of North Carolina, Wicker brings 20 years of culinary experience to the kitchen with a background in ethnic, whole animal and farm-to-table fare, according to the release.

The space, fashioned by Innerworks Design Group, has two dining rooms filled with tufted gray booths, ceramic deer heads and wood accents, and a bar filled with red iron stools and flat screen TVs, the release notes.

Cuts will share space with Truva Turkish Kitchen which downsized making room for the new steakhouse.
