A property in Downtown Atlanta is being positioned for major mixed-use redevelopment.

Atlanta-based land investment firm SSG Realty Partners has listed the 10-acre site in South Downtown Atlanta.

The property is located at the intersection of Ted Turner Drive and Whitehall Street. The site borders the historic Castleberry Hill neighborhood and is near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena. It is also adjacent to the massive Centennial Yards project, which recently marked the topping out of its first ground-up building.

The area is experiencing more than $10 billion in investment, “making it one of the most dynamic development corridors in the Southeastern U.S.,” according to a news release.

The property was formerly the distribution center for Gourmet Foods International, which relocated to a larger facility in Decatur several years ago.

SSG’s Director of Residential Land Group Peyton Stinson and Managing Partner David Branch have been retained by the property owner, McCall Railroad LLC, to market and reposition the site.

“This site offers an unparalleled redevelopment opportunity in one of the most active and rapidly evolving areas of downtown Atlanta,” Stinson said in an announcement. “With its proximity to Centennial Yards and the historic Castleberry Hill neighborhood, developers have a unique chance to shape the future of this vibrant, high-growth district.”
