Upscale Midtown hotel scores 65 on recent report.

The Georgian Terrace Hotel, at 659 Peachtree Street, failed its health inspection on January 9.

The upscale Midtown hotel scored a 65/U on the random inspection Thursday.

Points were taken off for bare hand contact with ready to eat food, improper eating or tasting of food, and inadequate hand washing, among other violations.

  • I always look at the 2 previous scores when deciding if it is an ok place to continue to eat. Given their prior scores, it looks like a bad day

  • No surprise. I was once photographing a luncheon at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. While the main speaker, Ted Turner, was talking I was watching a parade of cockroaches walking up and down the walls.

  • Oh please tell me that “main kitchen” means the one serving for meetings and not the Livingston! I love the Livingston! It’s the only downtown restaurant that makes you feel like you’re in a big, elegant city!
