Upscale Buckhead Hotel submits plans for new eatery.

The St. Regis Atlanta is opening a new restaurant in fall 2014, Amy Wenk with the Atlanta Business Chronicle (ABC) first reported.

The upscale Buckhead hotel submitted a building permit application with City of Atlanta earlier this week to make alterations to restaurant space formerly occupied by Paces 88 (closed its doors in November 2012).

An estimated $1.2 million will be spent on “interior alterations” at the Buckhead space, according to the permit.

The 5,662-square-foot yet-to-be-named restaurant will serve “new American cuisine,” the ABC notes.
