Meehan’s Public House in a press release Thursday announced plans to open its fifth Atlanta location in Buckhead August 1, 2014.

“So much is happening in Buckhead right now, and we are happy to be a part of it”, Phil Roness, partner at the restaurant’s parent company 101 Concepts, said in the release.

“Growing up in New York, there was a pub, restaurant, and bakery on every corner, and that is what excites us so much about this location. Being a part of a thriving neighborhood is why we look forward to becoming a part of the Buckhead family.”

The Irish pub’s kitchen will be helmed by Executive Chef Brian O’Rourke, at 322 East Paces Ferry Road (formerly Aspen Grille & Bartini and East Paces Tavern before that.)

The Buckhead Meehan’s will be similar to its other four locations with its dark cherry woods, bar and oversized patio.

Meehan’s Public House Buckhead will be open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
