Scoreboards Bar and Grill has closed in Decatur.
The last day for the eatery, at 1371 Clairmont Road, was Sunday June 1, according to Kabeer Khurana, the entrepreneur who’s taking over the space.
Khurana told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email Monday “the previous owner’s lease was terminated by the landlord.”
“We have taken over the lease and will be opening a new restaurant in the space,” Khurana said. “Construction will begin later this month.”
Scoreboards first opened in September 2012 replacing The Nest, a concept opened by Emory Students and Alumni in April 2011.
WNA is awaiting more details from Khurana on the forthcoming concept. Scoreboards was not immediately available for comment.
