According to information found in a recent permit filing, the popular chain Sports & Social has plans to open a new location in Columbus, at 840 N High St in Short North. The permit is for work to remodel an existing structure, with the cost of the renovations projected at $750,000.

Sports & Social has locations that are already operating or are in the works in over a dozen cities across the U.S. Known for its large screens for viewing sporting events, as well as in-house games including skeeball, foosball, billiards, air hockey and arcade games, as well as offering a selection of food and drinks, the establishment offers everything a sports fan needs for the perfect night out.

While the menu varies slightly from location to location, guests can expect to find a selection of draft and bottled beers, as well as wines and cocktails. Food choices range from pub fare such as nachos, burgers, wings and sandwiches.

The concept is owned by Live! Dining & Entertainment, which is a division of The Cordish Companies.
