Group behind Inman Park’s Barcelona bringing ‘upscale street food’ concept to Atlanta.
Bartaco, a restaurant that features “beach food with a coastal vibe,” is making final preparations to open in West Midtown.
The restaurant posted a Craigslist Atlanta advertisement Sunday for an open house scheduled for Monday, June 30 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Bartaco is looking to fill front of the house positions including servers, bartenders, and hostesses, according to the listing.
Bartaco is also looking for local artists to feature their work on a rotating billboard that sits atop the restaurant.
“Interested in having your art grace this space…,” the restaurant posted to its Facebook page last week. “Send us examples of your work (no more than ten selections) in a hi-res format.”
Barteca Restaurants, the company behind Inman Park’s popular Barcelona Wine Bar, is bringing the “upscale street food” restaurant to Atlanta, at 969 Marietta St, in the Dixie Packing Co. Building.
Bartaco should be open within the week compnay spokeswoman Ria Rueda told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email Monday.
“We typically do not provide an opening date due to unanticipated delays and such,” Rueda said. “We hope to open within the week or so.”
