Group behind Inman Park’s Barcelona Wine Bar expanding rapidly in Atlanta.

Bartaco, a restaurant that features “beach food with a coastal vibe,” opened its first Atlanta location in West Midtown earlier this month.

But the restaurant owned by Barteca Restaurants, the company behind Inman Park’s popular Barcelona Wine Bar, is just getting started.

Barteca posted a Craigslist Atlanta advertisement early Monday to fill available manager positions at two up-and-coming locations of the taco joint.

The restaurant group is opening a second Bartaco at 3802 Roswell Road in Buckhead, and a third location at 299 North Highland Avenue in Inman Park, according to Walter Jordan of Dogwood Restaurant Consultant Group (DRCG). DRCG is consulting in the opening of Barteca’s new Bartaco locations.

“This is one of the best companies to work with,” Jordan told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in an email this week.

Barteca submitted a building permit application to City of Atlanta Friday for a “tenant fit-out” at the Buckhead Bartaco space, but the restaurant’s opening timeline is unclear.

The restaurant group also has plans for a second Barcelona Restaurant and Wine Bar in Westside Iornworks, a $8.5 million project by the Westside Provisions District on Howell Mill Road.

In total, Barteca will grow from two locations to five this year: two Barcelona restaurants and three Bartaco stores.
